The quick answer

Start with exactly 50 main-deck cards and up to five Digi-Eggs. Focus on a compatible evolution line and a clear way to win.

The deck-building limits

Bandai’s Alysion system page specifies exactly 50 cards in the main deck and up to five Digi-Egg cards in a separate egg deck. You can include up to four copies of the same card number; different card numbers can share a Digimon name.

Always check the game’s own deck builder and current restrictions once available. Card availability and restrictions can differ from tabletop play.

Build around a plan

Choose an evolution line or group of effects that work together. Read digivolution requirements from the lower levels upward, then select cards that support the same goal.

Include enough lower-level Digimon to start playing and higher-level cards worth building toward. Balance Tamers and Options against the Digimon you need to draw; there is no universal ratio guaranteed for every deck.

Test one change at a time

After a few matches, note whether you regularly lack an early play, cannot find a compatible evolution, or have too many expensive cards in hand. Change a small number of slots and test again.

A starter list is a learning tool, not a permanent investment plan. Wait for the actual card pool, crafting and economy details before spending resources.

Where to find decklists

Alysion.gg has deck guides based on the paper BT-8 / EX-02 era. Its own page says those lists do not yet account for Alysion-exclusive cards. They are useful historical references, not confirmed launch meta or guaranteed legal Alysion lists.

We do not reproduce their lists. Compare any external deck against Alysion’s in-game card pool and current rules.
