Build a Digimon stack, manage a shared memory gauge, break your opponent’s security, then make one more direct attack.

The goal: security, then one more attack
Each player starts with five security cards. Successful attacks check cards from the opposing security stack. Once it is empty, an attack that reaches the opponent wins the game.
Security cards can have effects, and a Digimon revealed in a security check can battle the attacker. Do not assume that every attack is safe just because it reaches security.
Memory is shared, not a refillable mana pool
The memory counter sits on one shared gauge. Playing cards and digivolving generally move it toward your opponent by the stated cost. Your turn ends when the counter reaches 1 or more on the opponent’s side, after applicable effects resolve.
Example: if the marker is at 2 on your side and you pay 3 memory, it moves to 1 on your opponent’s side. Your opponent begins with that memory after the turn passes. Alysion handles the movement automatically.
Start at 2 on your side. Choose a cost to see where the marker moves.
The marker is at 2 on your side. Your turn continues.
A simplified illustration; it does not model card effects or the full gauge.Digivolve and build a stack
Hatch a Digi-Egg in the breeding area, then place a Digimon on top when its printed digivolution requirements are met and pay the stated cost. Digivolving normally draws a card; check the relevant effect and in-game prompts for exceptions.
The cards underneath remain digivolution cards. Their inherited effects can matter while the top card is in play. The top card determines the Digimon’s current identity and DP.
A turn in four phases
Alysion’s official system page outlines these phases. The game automates routine actions, but knowing their order makes decisions easier.
- Unsuspend: ready your suspended cards in the battle area.
- Draw: draw one card; the player going first skips the draw on their first turn.
- Breeding: hatch an egg, move a Digimon with DP to the battle area, or do neither.
- Main: play cards, digivolve, use Options and attack in the order the rules allow.
A useful first-game checklist
Before paying a cost, look at where the memory marker will end up. Before attacking, read the attacker’s effects and consider what a security check could reveal.
Start with the game’s tutorial and a coherent starter deck when available. Card text and current official rulings take priority over a short guide.
